It’s true. Mostly, he pees.
Thanks, Mac!

Just testing a photo post after changing something on the blog. But it’s a great chance to post this pic of me, my friend Jim (red shirt), his friend Ken (dark blue shirt), and Tom Kehoe, the owner of Yards Brewing Company in Philadelphia! This was taken in the Yards tasting room on O-fest weekend (which also happened to be Jim’s birthday)!

Yards

Wow, it’s been a big week for Colin! First, we’ve begun some preliminary teething… he’s chewing madly on everything and everything he gets near is now coated in a thin layer of baby slobber. He’s also really developing his ability to steal and manipulate things. Observe:

Stolen Glasses

After that, Colin decided to roll all the way over from his back to his tummy. That’s a pretty big milestone, but unfortunately, he hates being on his tummy. So once he starts doing it in the middle of the night and then crying because he’s on his tummy, we’ll have to have some words…

RollingOver

This was the momentous occasion. Yes, I was still in my sleepy pants at 3 PM.

SantaBike

Looks like Santa got his present a little early!
(And yes, he was blaring Jingle Bell Rock over his radio!)

CranZen

The secret to Audrey’s delicious cranberry relish? Achieving total Zen between cranberry and orange, of course.

Wouldn’t you like to be a pepper, too?

The house on Halloween (after letting the fog from the machines dissipate). Note the huge glowing red eyes staring down on approaching children — just heavy duty garbage bags taped to the windows with eyes cut out and a red lightbulb in the room. But they did the trick… Kids coming up the drive could be heard saying things like “Mommy, it’s too scary. I don’t want candy from there!” One child even confessed to our friends across the street that he wouldn’t come to our house because of the monsters that live on our second floor. Sweet!

Graveyard

Tonight I decided to attempt a ripoff of a mussel platter from Monk’s Cafe, complete with the sweet potato fries and spicy mayonaise. Not quite sure why, just felt like the thing to do this evening… I *have* been up for about 38 hours as I write this… Anyway, I steamed the mussels in a mix of garlic, shallot, fresh basil, and a bottle of homebrewed Abby Ale I bottled in December of 2002. It turned out pheonominal – I dare say it was actually better than the last few times I’ve been to Monk’s!

Mussels

Our phone is ringing approximately 1 million times a day with people asking, so I thought I’d better put up a blanket announcement that as of 12:30 PM Monday, 8/6, there is no baby yet!

Remember, this is the product of Audrey and myself. Did you seriously not expect it to be late?
